Intermediate rackets give you more: a bit more power, a bit more control, and a more defined character, without the harsh, unforgiving feel of a full pro frame. They're for players who are out on court regularly and starting to develop a style of their own.

Finding your shape


This is the level where racket shape really starts to matter:

  • Round rackets stay forgiving and reward control and placement.
  • Teardrop rackets balance power and control, and are the most versatile all-rounders.
  • Diamond rackets shift weight towards the head for more power, with a smaller sweet spot that asks for cleaner contact.

If you're not sure which way to go, teardrop is the safe, do-everything choice.
